Lawrence Greenberg
President
GREENBERG MEDIA, Inc.
With more than 20 years as a writer and media relations professional, Lawrence Greenberg has helped both technology giants and start-ups to achieve their goals with strategically tailored communications programs. For example, Larry helped to raise the profile of Photobit Corporation and its unique CMOS imaging technology for professional and industrial applications. Placements in such publications as The Wall Street Journal, Time Digital and BusinessWeek enhanced the company’s visibility with potential partners and investors. Micron eventually purchased Photobit and its technology in 2002. Larry also worked with several divisions of world-renowned Fujifilm, including its Motion Picture, Computer Products and Commercial Imaging Divisions, helping to underscore the giant’s position as a digital imaging leader.
At Edelman, the largest independently owned public relations firm in the world, Larry was responsible for program development and account management, strategic planning, media outreach, editorial, and senior level strategic counsel for a range of other clients including Samsung Semiconductor, Canon and SmartDisk. He secured numerous placements on behalf of his clients in Reuters, The New York Times, The Financial Times, Newsweek and BrandWeek, among other high-profile publications.
Previously, Larry was a senior account executive with Geltzer & Company (now part of Publicis Dialog USA), a New York-based public relations firm specializing in consumer and business-to-business technology accounts. There his clients included Motorola, Toshiba and Exide Corporation. Prior to that, as the lead writer in the New York office of The Kamber Group (now the Carmen Communications Group), he managed editorial projects on behalf of numerous trade unions as well as other organizations including the Democratic National Committee.
Larry began his career as a reporter and film critic for various publications in Westchester County, New York.
In 2006, Larry earned his Master of Science in the Communications and Media Management program at Fordham’s School of Business Administration. The program focused on the business models of both traditional and emerging media companies. He graduated from SUNY Purchase in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in literature.
